Ken Kempinski

VP, Sales & Business Development

For over 20 years, Ken has led cross-functional sales and marketing teams, commercializing NPI’s across various consumer and industrial industries. Before joining Pedestal, Ken was with Ingevity Specialty Chemicals where he was responsible for global account management at Halliburton, delivering +$50MM in annual sales, leading the division in revenue and profit generation.

The majority of Ken’s career was with GE Plastics where he held various commercial roles including Global Industry Manager. Here, Ken successfully led a cross-functional team in the commercialization of a new-to-world consumer product line (visual FX water bottles). Throughout his career, Ken has also been named on various application patents. Earlier, while in global business development roles at Ashland and Wacker Polymers, Ken was responsible for leading global teams. In that capacity, he was tasked with identifying +$100MM organic growth opportunities, authoring and negotiating joint-development agreements, and executing business plans for successful product launches across multiple industries.

Ken received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, with a minor in Economics from Lehigh University.
